  • Coach Renner

    Feb 2019


    Qwik Athletics Head Coach Kevyn Renner was recently notified that he had qualified as an All American for his performance in the 800m at the World Masters Olympics in Sydney, Australia in 2009. Better late than never for the recognition!! Coach Renner made it through the heats to the final where he ran 2:18. This was the 30th fastest time in the World in 2009 for the Mens 50 to 55 age group and top 25 in the USA.

  • Scholarship Awarded

    Qwik Athletics Softball Athlete, Kelley Renner, received a financial reward from the Champion's Cup Foundation to help continue her collegiate education at the University of California, San Diego. The "The Suzy Brazney - For Love of the Game Scholarship"  is a nationwide award to a player who has demonstrated her love for the game of softball and is named after former NCAA and olympic trialist, Suzy Brazney. Congratulations Kelley!!

  • Sac All - City Team

    May 2018

    Qwik Athletics softball star and Oak Ridge High School Senior, Kelley Renner, has been selected to the Sacramento Area All-City Team for 2018. She was recognized prior to a Sacramento River Cats game at Raley Field along with other All-City High School athletes from across the region and 200 high schools. Wonderful achievement for Kelley and the culmination of a stellar 4 year Varsity High School Career.

  • Who said you can't coach Speed?

    In the most dramatic improvement so far, Qwik Athletics has carved 0.5 seconds off a softball athlete's contact to first base time - from 3.3 to 2.8 seconds. This was achieved through vastly improved running speed and acceleration mechanics over a period of 4 months. A time of 2.8s places this 16U athlete in the top band for her age and sets the stage for incremental improvement towards 2.6 seconds which would be NCAA D1 Collegiate speed for a lefty hitter.

  • Baseball Speed & Agility

    Qwik Athletics is providing Speed Coaching to the El Dorado Hills, CA  Little League youth Baseball Program. Over a period of 4 sessions young ball players are learning correct running and acceleration mechanics as well as drills to improve agility and explosiveness.

  • Kelley Makes the Cut!!

    Qwik Athletic's Kelley Renner will play for New Zealand at the World Junior Softball Championships to be held in Clearwater, FL in July 2017. Kelley was notified that she had been selected into the final 17 from a squad of 32. 2017 is shaping up to be a great year for Kelley after a stellar 2016. Congrats Kelley!!

  • 2016 Soccer State Cup

    Baylor Hargon, with the help of Qwik Athletics speed and agility training, co-lead her U12 Girls Soccer team to second place in the CA State Soccer Cup. Baylor has improved immensely in her speed and acceleration over tha past 6 months and has become a key component of her competitive league soccer team. Congratulations Baylor!!

  • Olympics 2020? Maybe!!

    An outstanding 2016 Softball season for Qwik Athletic's Kelley Renner continues to get even better as she has been selected to the New Zealand National White Sox training squad for the 2018 World Championships to be held in Japan and the basis for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Qualifying Team. While still able to play for the National Junior White Sox, the 16 year old Centerfielder has impressed the coaching staff and team management  with her speed and ability to get on base. In the Fall 2016 Season just completed Kelley stole 62 bases from 62 attempts and had an on-base percentage over .500 while competing at the 18 Gold level in Northern and Southern California!! Can 2016 be any better for Kelley?

  • UC San Diego Bound

    While still a Junior at Oak Ridge High School, Qwik Athletic's Kelley Renner has verbally committed to the University of California at San Diego on a Softball Scholarship commencing the 2019 College Season. The speedy centerfielder and lefty slapper has had a great year after coming off a 2015 marred by injury. Kelley's track speed, softball talent and dedication have positioned her for a rewarding college career at one of the top 5 public colleges in the nation. Congrats Kelley!!

  • National Honors

    Qwik Athletic's dual sport athlete Kelley Renner, (Track and Softball), has been selected to the New Zealand National Junior White Sox 2017 World U19 Championship squad. The squad of 30 will be working towards the Championships which will be held in Florida in July 2017. In the 2015 Championships held in Oklahoma City, the Junior White Sox finished 5th out of 18 countries. Kelley has also been selected to play for New Zealand in the 2016 Hawaii Invitational Tournament this July in Honolulu. A big Congratulations to Kelley and reward for hard work, dedication and commitment!!

  • Softball Speed & Agility

    Qwik Athletics has been selected by All American Mizuno to provide speed and agility coaching for the Sacramento based 14U Girls Travel Team. This involves multiple sessions over a period of 6 weeks focused on improving linear and lateral acceleration which are so important in Softball.

  • Middle School Cross Country Success

    Outstanding performances were recorded at the recent Middle School League Finals held at the Folsom Willow Hills Cross Country course.

    8th Graders, Jessica Willis and Aidan Campbell, with the help and coaching guidance of Qwik Athletics, finished 2nd and 4th respectively in their 1.5 mile finals competing for Marina Village Middle School. Willow Hills is a tough course with both athletes running hard and finishing strong. Aidan missed out on the bronze medal by 5/1000 of a second!!

  • Head Coach Success

    May 2015

    Qwik Athletics Head Coach, Kevyn Renner, completed a successful season as Sprints Coach at Oak Ridge High School. He guided the school's male and female sprinters to 1 All Time Record ( the first sprinter to break 11 seconds for the 100m in Oak Ridge history), 16 Top 5 All Time Performances and 6 school grade records as well as many personal bests. Under Coach Renner, Oak Ridge won the 2015 Sierra Foothill League Track & Field Championship and placed runners in both the Sac JoaQuin Section and Section Masters Finals.

  • High School Section Masters

    May 2015

    Qwik Athletics sprinter Kelley Renner qualified all the way through to her High School Section Masters meet as a part of the Oak Ridge High School Track Team. She first ran in her Sierra Foothill League Trials and Finals in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m and then advanced through to Section Trials and Finals and then Masters as the lead off runner on the 4x100m Relay. This culminated a great season for Kelley as she gained her Varsity Letter as a freshman as well as setting two new Oak Ridge 9th Grade Records.

  • Qwik Athletics Medals at Middle School Finals

    May 2015

    Under the coaching of Qwik Athletics Head Coach Renner, local 7th and 8th Grade athletes brought home a silver and two bronze medals at the District Middle School Track and Field Finals held at Pondersoa High School in Shingle Springs,CA. Outstanding performances were recorded by Jessica Willis and Grant Anderson representing Marina Village and Rolling Hills Middle Schools respectively as they each recorded PR's in their 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m events. Jessica set a new 7th Grade Marina Village record of 1:03.92 in her 400m dash!!

  • Another School Record

    April 2015

    Qwik Athletics sprinter, Kelley Renner, set a new Oak Ridge High School 9th Grade 200m record of 26.96s at the recent Bella Vista Bronco High School Invitational Meet with more than 20 schools participating. Running for Oak Ridge, Kelley broke the previous record of 27.24s set in 2010 by running an impressive turn and maintaining her form through the finish. She has set PR's in both 100m and 200m events this season.

  • New Oak Ridge High School Record

    Kelley & Kayla Renner, daughters of Qwik Athletics Head Coach, Kevyn Renner, ran the 100m and 400m legs of an Oak Ridge High School record breaking Sprint Medley Relay Team for Freshman/Sophomore Girls. The team broke the previous record by 5 seconds while competing for the Trojans at the 2015 Capital Classic Relays at Elk Grove High School.

  • High School Sprints Coach

    Kevyn Renner has been selected to lead the sprint coaching at Oak Ridge High School for the 2015 season. Reporting to Head Coach, Rob Fairley, Renner brings years of coaching and competing experience to the Oak Ridge Track and Field program in El Dorado Hills, CA.

  • Track Preseason Conditioning

    Head Coach Kevyn Renner of Qwik Athletics will conduct preseason conditioning for the sprinters, hurdlers and jumpers at Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, CA. This will include static and dynamic drills as well as complete conditioning workouts for approximately 50 athletes.

  • Military Academy Fitness Assessment

    Qwik Athletics head coach Kevyn Renner has tested and certified a United States Air Force Academy Candidate Fitness Assessment 
    for a local applicant. This incorporated 6 different fitness disciplines demonstrating strength, agility, speed and endurance.
